For Hyphen creators

Built for people who build their own thing.

The health insurance system was built around the employer. Group plans, open enrollment, HR. If you build your own audience, your own distribution and your own business, you get the marketplace instead, and the marketplace was never designed with you in mind.

Molli is health insurance for independent professionals. Real plans with employer-grade design: a deductible that is the most you pay in a year, 100% coverage after it, and the Cigna or PHCS PPO network with over two million providers and no referrals.

Everything runs in one app. See the price of care before you go, find a doctor, pull up your ID card, and ask an agent that actually knows your plan.

The plans

Two ways to get covered.

Major medical

  • Hospital, surgery, ER, specialists, imaging and maternity covered
  • Plan pays 100% after the deductible. The deductible is the most you pay in a year.
  • Cigna PPO or PHCS PPO network, 2M+ providers, no referrals
  • $0 preventive care, $0 virtual primary care, $0 generic prescriptions
  • Family coverage available
Basic$10,000 deductible
Pro$5,000 deductible, HSA qualified
Premium$2,500 deductible, HSA qualified
Your price depends on your age, ZIP code and plan. See it in about a minute, before you commit.

FAQ

Still have questions?

Who is this for?+

People who buy their own health insurance. Creators, managers, freelancers, contractors, 1099 workers and small business owners, plus their spouses and kids. If you get coverage through an employer today, this is for the day that changes.

Is this an ACA marketplace plan?+

No. Molli is not sold on the marketplace and marketplace subsidies do not apply. Coverage is individual: you join on your own, pick your own plan, and pay your own monthly amount.

What is the difference between major medical and MEC?+

Major medical is the full plan. You pick a deductible ($10,000, $5,000 or $2,500) and once you hit it the plan pays 100% for the rest of the year, including hospital, surgery and ER. MEC is the low-cost plan: a flat $70 or $125 a month covers your virtual doctor, labs, generic prescriptions and preventive care, and MEC Plus adds in-person visits with copays. MEC does not cover the hospital, ER or surgery.

When can I sign up?+

Any month. Becoming a member is a qualifying event, so you don't have to wait for open enrollment. Sign up by the 20th for coverage on the 1st of the next month.

Can I add my spouse or kids?+

Yes. Family pricing is shown at plan selection.

Can I keep my doctor?+

Most likely. You can search for your doctors during onboarding, before you pick a plan, and again any time in the app.

Do I have to be represented by Hyphen?+

This page is for Hyphen creators. Anyone who buys their own coverage can join Molli, and the price is the same either way.

Can I share Molli with my audience?+

Yes, through a separate program. Creators who want to talk about Molli get their own Molli-branded landing page and affiliate link, plus a short brief on what to say. Ask your Hyphen contact.
